There are many reasons why a family may be trying to stretch their budget and time at WDW. Are you on a dining plan and saving credits for a signature meal? Are you in need of a resort day? Need a hot meal while little ones are asleep? Do you have a large group you are trying to feed in a short timeframe to make it to an event? All of these and many more are very valid reasons to add a slow cooker to your packing list. Don’t have a Disney Vacation Club Villa with a full kitchen? Hakuna Matata! All of these have been tried and true ways to feed a crowd of 4-10 people in a resort room with just a sink and an electrical plug! Just adjust your ingredients list to fit the number of people you are serving and their appetites. I suggest bringing a cooler to store leftovers if there are any left. Regardless of whether you are in an Inn room at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort, a studio at Animal Kingdom Lodge, or a preferred room at Port Orleans, you can feed a crowd a hot meal on a budget with little time invested! We have made many friends over the years with staff and resort neighbors who were curious where those mysterious smells were coming from! SHHHH! Maybe you can save a bit of money, some much needed time, and make new friends too!
