How to Choose Other Activities at Disney World

If you\’re still with me, we\’ve been covering the information you want to think about as you begin to book your Disney World trip! We\’ve talked about how to choose the right Disney resort, how to decide what park tickets you want, and how to pick the best dining plan for your traveling party or trip.  Today, we\’re going to talk about the OTHER things you book at Disney World!

I know…it\’s a lot! In addition to choosing resort, tickets and dining plan as well as then choosing the actual dining reservations you want, there are several other fun activities you may want to book to enhance your Disney vacation! Most of these can be booked at the same point as your dining reservations at 180 days prior to the start of your trip.

One of the most popular activities to book is Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique! Very popular with guests with little princesses in their party, Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique has fabulous Fairy Godmothers-in-training who transform little girls into princesses! There are two great locations at Disney World–one located inside Cinderella\’s Castle in Magic Kingdom and a beautiful new location in Disney Springs. Both have the same offerings and packages, but the option in Magic Kingdom is harder to book. With three packages ranging in price from $60 to $200, there\’s something to fit every budget.

Did you know that Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique also has a Knight Package for little boys? At just $20, this is a fun activity for little brothers or cousins while the princess is getting her makeover!

Another fun option is Pirates League! Located in Magic Kingdom next to the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, here kids can be made over into pirates or, for the girls, mermaids or pirate empress!

Packages here include two Jake and the Neverland Pirates packages ($40-$55), a First Mate package ($45) and Captain Hook Deluxe package ($100). For girls, the Empress package is $45 or choose from one of the mermaid packages ($40-$80).

There are also numerous activities like Pirates and Pals Fireworks cruises, Pirate Adventure cruises, fireworks dessert parties and more than can add some extra magic to your trip!

Are you visiting in September or October? Perhaps you want tickets to Mickey\’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! Or maybe you\’re visiting during November or December–check out the Mickey\’s Very Merry Christmas party! These can\’t be booked at 180 days, but your agent will book it for you as soon as possible as some of these parties WILL sell out!

There are tons of other things you can opt to add on while you\’re visiting–a carriage ride around one of the resorts, a tethered hot air balloon ride at Disney Springs, a pony ride or an archery lesson at Fort Wilderness and more.

Once your trip is booked, the most important things to focus on booking are your dining reservations and those Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique reservations! Don\’t worry…your Wishdrawals travel agent will help you every step of the way!
