Mickey\'s Not So Scary Halloween Party Dates Are Out!

We\’ve all been anxiously awaiting the 2016 Halloween party dates for Mickey\’s Not So Scary Halloween party–they\’re finally here!

Mickey\’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is a separately ticketed event held on select evenings during September and October in the Magic Kingdom. This year it has expanded to 29 dates, too!

We do not yet have prices on the parties or know when they will go on sale, so stay tuned for more news soon. NOW is the time to be booking your fall trip though! Dining reservations will go very quickly for October, and the only way to guarantee that you get that highly coveted dining reservation you want is to book early!

What you should know:

The park closes at 7 pm to anyone not holding a party ticket. You will be escorted out of the park if you cannot show the wristband and proof of a party ticket!

You cannot make FastPasses during the party hours.

You may wear costumes with a few exceptions (new to 2016). Children ages 13 and under are welcome to wear any kind of costume they desire (no weapons!). For those ages 14 and up, you may wear costumes but are strongly discouraged from wearing layer costumes or costumes with props that surround the body (and potentially make it easy to hide a weapon). These types of costumes mean you will likely be subject to additional security screening which is annoying and takes away from your party time! Maybe most importantly, do not bring any weapon props or weapons that resemble–or may be mistaken for–actual weapons. They will be confiscated, so leave the pirate sword at home!

You may arrive and enter the park as early as 4 pm with your party ticket.

What IS the party?

Guests trick-or-treat throughout the park at designated trick or treat trails.

Nearly all the rides are open, too, with shorter than typical lines. Many favorite Disney Characters dressed in their very own Halloween costumes–some of whom cannot be found at other times of the year!

Also, great special entertainment–the amazing Mickey\’s Boo-To-You Halloween parade, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular (stage show in front of the castle) and the Happy HalloWishes fireworks–a special Halloween version of Wishes fireworks!

Here is the full list of this year’s dates:
